Fiber-Optic Cable is being installed by Silver Star (by Action Excavation). The following is the explanation of what they are doing given to us in response to our President’s questions:
Personally, we would like to get a better grasp as to where the digging will be. Is it along the orange flags that identify the electrical or a specific distance parallel to it and on which side? How wide is the trench?
Any where you see the white flags will be where the work will take place.
Many of us have sprinkler systems that may be affected and mailboxes etc.
Anything in the easement needs located, we will do our best to avoid. We are not responsible for anything damaged in the utility easement.
also, many of us work and might not be home to address any issues the digging crew could have.
We will use our best judgement if anyone is not home and be respectful.
Should we use flags or bright spray paint to identify those things?
Yes please use flags or bright paint (DO NOT USE THE UTILITY COLORS RED(POWER), ORANGE(PHONE) TO MARK ANY SPRINKLERS, ETC.) the color for Water is BLUE, Gas is YELLOW.
Please be sure to advise all homeowners to not approach the equipment, all questions or concerns should be addressed by the President/Member of the subdivision HOA this will be very helpful so that I will not have to respond to a ton of emails.
