Our current covenants make no specific mention of advances in materials and technology, so all decisions regarding the use of them are made subjectively by the Architectural Committee. By 26 to 12, the membership surveys supported acting on this issue. But few explicit comments were made. (Pro-change members score= 2.17).
Because of the complexity of the issues, and insufficient clarity on a direction at this point, the Board believes a much more involved membership conversation needs to ensue before proposals can be crafted. NO VOTE REQUIRED.
