“How to give lot owners opportunities to respectfully store utility vehicles.” [Problem Statement #2 in surveys]
The covenants currently prohibit storage of unscreened utility and horse trailers. By 21 to 16 the membership surveys supported consideration of some change to this prohibition. (Pro-change members score= 1.31). However, the comments offered no specifics.
For this issue, you were asked to vote for ANY, or ALL, or NONE of the following two (2) proposals: ALL PROPOSALS FAILED DUE TO INSUFFICNET VOTES. 61 VOTES MINIMUM WERE REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION
A. This proposal would allow unscreened storage of utility trailers, only if they are not more than 20 feet in body length, no utility vehicle is parked more than 15 feet from an existing structure, and no more than 2 utility vehicles are located on a lot. The proposed language is in the Draft Covenant Proposals, Article VII at section 7.3.4.3(a) (on the Saddlehorn Blog). 50 votes were case in favor of this option.
B. This proposal would allow unscreened storage of utility vehicles, only if no utility vehicle is located so as to be visible beneath any Teton peak taller than 11,000 feet as viewed from any home less than 600 yards to the west. The proposed language is in the Draft Covenant Proposals, Article VII at section 7.3.4.3(a) (on the Saddlehorn Blog). 37 votes were cast in favor of this option.
I would support A but not B

Protect homeowners views as top priority so our subdivision doesn’t look like some others in Victor. Enforce violators quickly when applicable.
